Your minisite comes standard with a footer link pointing back to the 7 Minute Minisite page, but you can change it to whatever you’d like, or remove it altogether.
This will require a little bit of code-editing, but I promise it won’t be too painful! The video below shows you exactly what to do.
For those ready to jum in, log in to your Dashboard, under the Appearances tab click Editor, then find the file footer.php from the right menu. When you click it, you’ll see the very short file, just find the link to “http://www.wordpress-minisites.com” and change it to whatever you want. The text right after this determines what the anchor text for the link is, feel free to change this as well.
Before you edit code, it is ALWAYS a good idea to save a backup- if you just select it all, copy it to a text file… anytime you feel you “messed things up” you can just re-paste this code back, and you’re back to the original.
Don’t forget to “Update File” after any changes to have them take effect!
